ABOUT ISAAC MARK

Isaac is fifteen years old. He lives in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. He has been racing motorbikes since 2016. Starting off racing mini motos from 2016 to 2017 before progressing onto Pitbikes (2018-2022), where he has had multiple podiums and race wins.

2024 season he raced in the Moto 1 Class on his Yamaha R3 in the Ulster Superbike Championship. The 2023 training paid off as Isaac got pole position and two race wins in his first ever short circuit meeting which set a trend for the whole season. He got pole position in every round, one DNF, one second place and the rest were all race wins. This resulted in Isaac becoming Moto 1 champion in his first ever season.

In 2023 he took a year out of racing to concentrate on his training and track days in preparation for his first season on the short circuits in the Ulster Superbike Championships in Northern Ireland.

BRITISH SUPERBIKES

British Superbikes (BSB) was not the plan for Isaac as early as 2025. This happened unexpectedly after getting training from James Ellison in Spain earlier in the year. James said Isaac was ready for the next step.

So, James set up a meeting for Isaac in Donnington and his dad (Robert) to meet Steve Brogan (Team SBR Kawasaki) to discuss Isaac’s options. From that meeting Isaac had three training trips to Spain later that year with Steve which resulted in Isaac signing for Team SBR for the 2025 season in the Kawasaki Superteam Championship.

A step up to British Superbikes was always going to be challenging as Isaac was only 14, which meant he was not able to go and do track days at any of the British Superbike circuits as he was still too young. However, the approach was to go and learn circuits on the race weekends and gain as much experience as possible and always give his best. Which he did!

The season was a bit of a rollercoaster with it’s highs and lows. But Isaac made progress at every round and his times were getting very close to the front runners. His determination, perseverance and persistence were all starting to show. Isaac gained alot of valuable experience throughout the year and he now knows what it takes to be competitive at this level.

WIth regards the plans for 2026, we are glad to say Isaac has signed for Team SBR. He will be riding the Kawasaki ZX-4RR which he knows very well from the previous season. Isaac started training already with 3 days in Alicante, Spain, with the help of Steve Brogan and Tommy Bridewell. There are more training days to come in preparation for the 2026 season ahead…
